Roughcast Cleaning
Roughcast is a common decorative finish on many exterior houses. The cast over time captures small dirt particles this allows bacterial growth to establish which appears as red, green or black staining. This staining is more obvious on the walls that take the
brunt of the weather but can be on all walls. The biofilm staining can be removed from the wall using our Softwash systems.
Cleaning up Roughcast
Pressure Washing at a high pressure is not recommended to clean wall as the force of the jet will dislodge the dash.
Softwashing is the preferred method for the cleaning of Pebble Dash and Roughcast this non-invasive system uses chemicals to remove the staining rather than force.
